He graduated from Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine in 1992 with a first degree. In the same year, he started his specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology.
Dr. received his specialization from Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology in 1998.
After completing his military service as a Medical Lieutenant at Diyarbakır Military Hospital between 1999-2000, he worked as a "Clinical Researcher" in the field of spine surgery at Dokuz Eylul University Faculty of Medicine Orthopedics and Traumatology Clinic for 3 months.
Prof. Dr. worked as a lecturer at Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology between 2001 and 2003.
He worked at Texas Scottish Rite Children's Hospital and John Hopkins University School of Medicine, Department of Orthopedic Surgery in the USA on spine surgery and pediatric orthopedics in 2002.
Having received the title of Associate Professor in 2006, Dr. became a professor in 2012.
He served as the Head of the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine between 2012 and 2015.
